ASCR has a history of providing a presence at community events. Recently, volunteers have staffed tables at local farmers’ markets, plant sales, and environmental health and safety events. Of special note is the ASCR Annual Bird Seed Sale, which is a major fundraiser for the Society. The Sale and the ASCR Annual Meeting are two of the largest recurring events, but we are always looking for more ways to spread the word about birds.  If event is cancelled or postponed, we will post it here and on our Facebook page.

Guest Speaker:  Alexis Broz LaRoche, Wild For Life Inc. (wildlife rescue and rehabilitation).   HOME | WildforlifeInc   

Our guest speaker will be Alexis Broz of “Wild For Life” and Bo, the Ambassador Beaver.  “Wild For Life” is more than just a wildlife rehabilitation center, it’s a place of healing and hope for wild animals in need.  Alexis is the founder of “Wild For Life Inc.” and a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in New York State with over seven years of experience caring for injured, orphaned, and displaced wildlife. Through her special bond with Bo the beaver, Alexis has helped bring widespread awareness to the importance of conservation, beaver preservation, and responsible land stewardship.

We will hold our meeting after the presentation and will be serving refreshments.
